ABOUT CAPILLI
Capilli Tupou (Ngāpuhi / Te Rarawa / Pava’ia’i / Safotu) is an artist specialising in old school traditional style tattooing with his own unique South Pacific slant.
Seeking a career change where he could use his creative abilities, Capilli began tattooing in 2008. He has called many of Aotearoa’s premier tattoo studios home, spending several years at Two Hands Tattoo, Sacred Tattoo and Sunset Tattoo in Tāmaki Makaurau.
In 2022, Capilli opened his own studio in Ponsonby.
